Recipe: Aronia Bread Pudding
Sweet cinnamon and vanilla complement the tart aronia berry to make this bread pudding the perfect dessert (or breakfast!).
Ingredients:
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups (4 slices) dry bread, cut into cubes
1/2 cup frozen Sawmill Hollow organic aronia berries
Instructions:
- To dry bread cubes, bake them in a 300 °F oven for about 15 minutes. 
- Place dry bread cubes in an 9“ round or square baking dish. 
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Set aside. 
- Sprinkle Sawmill Hollow aronia berries over bread cubes. 
- Pour egg mixture over bread and aronia berries. 
- Bake in a 325 °F oven for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. 
- Serve warm. Dress it up with homemade whipped cream and Sawmill Hollow Aronia Berry Syrup!
