USA Today reports on aronia berry market

USA Today highlighted the growth of the aronia berry market in the United States. Starting with just 200 plants at Sawmill Hollow Family Farm near Missouri Valley, IA, the aronia berry has expanded to farms across the Midwest. Retailers including Hy-Vee and Whole Foods Market carry a number of aronia berry products from Sawmill Hollow. Andrew Pittz discussed the growth of the market with AP reporter Margery A. Beck.

“We want the aronia berry to be to Iowa’s Heartland what the peach is to Georgia.” Pittz said.
